Teenage Girl Shot Twice on South Broadway

On June 8, at approximately 1:56 a.m., Central District patrol officers received a call from a Baltimore City Fire Department medic for assistance at a nearby hospital emergency room for a shooting victim who approached them with gunshot wounds.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers spoke with the 16-year-old female victim who was suffering from two gunshot wounds to the right wrist. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the 800 block of South Broadway when she was involved in a physical altercation when an unidentified man suspected shot her in the melee. The victim then walked up to a medic who transported her to a nearby hospital. 

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.
