The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Western District.
On Feb. 15, at approximately 2:08 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a home on the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old girl suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported by medic to an area hospital, where she later died.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
