Teen Shooter Pleads Guilty to Murdering Woman at Hotel Party

Davion Foreman, 19, is set to serve 25 years behind bars after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and using a firearm before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Althea M. Handy.

On March 9, Foreman accepted a plea deal of 60 years, suspending all but 25. The first five years of his sentence will be served without parole. Upon completion of his term, Foreman will be required to serve five years of supervised probation and register as a gun offender.

Foreman was arrested last January in Middle River, Maryland for his involvement in the death of Kierra Tripp, 28. Tripp was fatally shot on Nov. 17, 2024, during a party on the 12th floor of the Residence Inn Marriott Hotel.

Police responded to the shooting around 1:30 a.m. and found Tripp unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the right side of her face.

Foreman, who was a minor at the time of the incident, was arrested based on video footage of him attending the party, as well as multiple eyewitness testimonies positively identifying him as the shooter.
