On Nov. 4, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer upheld a sentence for a defendant convicted of shooting a family member during a dispute on Thanksgiving of 2021.
Andrew Abiola, 19, represented by defense attorney Natalie Finegar was initally sentenced on Sept. 13 to two concurrent sentences of 20 years, suspending 14 years, three months and ten days with four years of supervised probation for attempted second-degree murder and the conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony violent crime. The incident occurred on the 1200 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Judge Schiffer upheld his sentence of 20 years, suspending all but 5 years, and added 4 years of supervised probation upon release to his sentence.
