Teen Dies after Walking into Hospital for Treatment in Northern District

On April 10, at approximately 3:39 p.m., Northern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to Sinai Hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The unidentified male was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Northwest homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.

It was later identified that this shooting occurred on the 2500 block of Longwood Street. The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Kamren Murphy.

Investigators are currently attempting to determine where the incident occurred.
