In reference to a shooting that occurred on Sept. 1 in the Central District, Baltimore Police Department detectives have arrested a 15-year-old male suspect.
After learning that the 15-year-old suspect shot a 12-year-old male victim while on the 1100 block of Wilmot Court, investigators obtained an arrest warrant.
The 15-year-old suspect, who was already being held at Baltimore City Juvenile Center on unrelated handgun charges, was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility, on Oct. 3, where he has been charged as an adult for attempted first-degree murder.
He remains in Central booking and is being held without bail.
