Antonio Harmon, 16, received a May 20 jury trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland on April 14.  Harmon was denied transfer to juvenile court and is being tried as an adult.

Harmon is charged with attempting to murder two male victims in an Aug. 1, 2024 shooting that occurred in the 4900 block of Aberdeen Avenue. He faces a total of 21 charges, including first- and second-degree assault and firearm use in a violent crime.

According to charging documents, at approximately 3 pm., officers responded to the 4800 block of Sinclair Lane for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the back of his head, upper torso, and right arm. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Crime scene investigations produced spent shell casings and recovered the victim’s vehicle. Detectives reviewed area surveillance footage and were able to view the suspect fleeing the location on foot. Using still images taken from the footage, detectives produced and released identification fliers.

Investigators later learned that another man had been sitting in the passenger seat of the victim’s vehicle at the time of the shooting, but escaped unscathed. Witnesses identified Harmon as the shooter, and he was eventually taken into custody. Harmon, who is represented by defense attorney Aneesa Khan, is set to stand trial before Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.
