Waverly Reginato is a Junior undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she studies both Biochemistry and Economics and works as a research assistant at the Lobo laboratory in the Biological Sciences department.
Prior to coming to UMBC, she went to Hagerstown Community College where she earned her associates degree in Biology, while she was still in high school.
Reginato plans to graduate from UMBC and move onto graduate school to achieve her goal of becoming a forensic pathologist. She wants to use her time at Baltimore Witness to deepen her understanding of the court system, and gain experience reporting what goes on inside of the courtroom, along with keeping an accurate record of the many homicides in Baltimore that are unaccounted for.
