Sanaya Warner is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Journalism at Morgan State University. Originally from South Jersey, Sanaya has a strong interest in advocacy, criminal justice, and the legal system. She was drawn to the Baltimore Witness internship by the opportunity to engage directly with court reporting and deepen her understanding of how the criminal justice system operates. Sanaya is especially looking forward to sharpening her writing skills while gaining hands-on experience that supports her passion for justice and storytelling. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, traveling, giving back to the community, and practicing yoga.
