Nicholas Carter is from New York City and currently a student at Fordham University, majoring in Political Science. He is interested in pursuing a career in law, specifically intellectual property and social justice advocacy.
Nicholas was drawn to the Baltimore Witness internship because he wants to better understand how the criminal justice system functions at the local level and how it affects real people and communities.
He is especially looking forward to gaining hands-on experience observing court proceedings and contributing to meaningful transparency and accountability in the legal process.
In his free time, Nicholas enjoys reading, learning about sustainable fashion, and participating in campus leadership programs.
