LaTrina Antoine is a multidimensional journalist who has held several roles in the Communications field. For more than a decade, Antoine has produced quality work as a reporter and editor in the metropolitan area. Her experience includes managing daily and weekly business, political, community, social and financial news content; overseeing daily social media postings; and managing a team of news reporters, interns, and photographers.
Antoine has also taught courses on multimedia editing and design, advertising and journalism law and ethics as a Mass Communications professor in Pennsylvania.
Antoine received a Master’s Degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor’s Degree in English with concentrations in African Studies, Creative Writing and Women and Gender Studies from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
Antoine is a 2018 John Jay College of Criminal Justice Fellow and a 2019 John Jay College of Criminal Justice/Arnold Ventures Reporting Fellow.
As the editor in chief for American Witness’ websites (baltimorewitness.org and dcwitness.org), she believes that transparency is needed to reduce violent crime.
