Hi, my name is Grant Shanahan and I’m from Annapolis, Md. I’m an undergraduate at the university of Maryland majoring in criminology. I hope to attend law school upon graduation. My hobbies include reading, as well as coaching and playing tennis along with basketball. I am excited to join the Baltimore Witness team in order to gain a more nuanced perspective of our legal system as well as continue to hone my writing skills and journalistic instincts. The prospect of being able to provide a distinct perspective on important cases is perhaps what I am looking forward to most.
