Estephany Sanchez is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a double major in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Information Science. She hopes to pursue a career in cybersecurity and eventually attend law school to become an immigration lawyer. Steph was drawn to Baltimore Witness as a meaningful way to gain deeper insight into the justice system while also giving back to the community by raising awareness about important issues impacting the city. She is excited to strengthen her writing and analysis skills, especially as they relate to crime and the courts. In her free time, Steph enjoys reading, working out, recording music, and never passes up a good crime documentary.
