Amna Syed is a senior studying criminal justice at Towson University from Elkridge, Md. After graduating, she plans to pursue a masters degree in criminology, aspiring to become a criminologist. Syed travels frequently and loves to explore new cities and cultures. She choose to join Baltimore Witness because it has the strength in make voices heard. They make cases transparent, which is most intriguing. She is interested in helping the organization with their cases, because it will also help her understand how the U.S. court system works first-hand. She also plans to gain insight on how to professionally look at cases in the real world.
