Amari Santana is a junior at Stevenson University, majoring in Pre-Law. She was originally from Southern Maryland. Her career aspiration is to become a criminal attorney, driven by a strong passion for justice and advocacy. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Amari enjoys cooking and styling hair, activities that allow her to express creativity and connect with others. The Baltimore Witness internship, with its mission to bring transparency to the criminal justice system, caught Amari’s attention. She is excited about the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with court reporting and to deepen her understanding of the legal system’s real-time operations.
