Suspects Arrested in Pratt Street Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with an April 15 shooting in the Southwest District.

Investigators arrested Baltimore men Javon Brown, 21, and Michael Yerby, 20, following a shooting in the 1800 block of W. Pratt Street​ that left a 35-year-old man injured. The suspects were apprehended following a brief foot pursuit.

Detectives transported the suspects to the Central Booking & Intake Facility​. Brown faces charges of attempted first- and second-degree murder, along with multiple handgun violations. Yerby is charged with attempted first-degree murder and several counts of conspiracy.
