Suspect in Custody in Northern District Domestic Shooting

On April 12, at approximately 11:23 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Homestead Avenue to investigate a caller who stated she shot a male who was attacking her. 

A short time later, a victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 53-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 600 block of Homestead Avenue by his domestic partner. A person of interest has been taken into custody.
