On Jan. 24, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Fairlawn Avenue to investigate a reported shooting inside a mechanic’s garage.
Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located 68-year-old Delroy Plummer suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot inside the office within the building. A person of interest has been taken into custody.
