On Dec. 1, U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force members arrested 21-year-old Keion Moore of Baltimore.

Detectives believe that Moore was responsible for the murder of 29-year-old Codell Brown that occurred on Aug. 6 on the 500 block of Gorsuch Avenue.

Moore was transported to the Bergen County Jail in Paterson, N.J., where he was held until he was extradited to the Central Booking Intake Facility on Dec. 15, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.

On Aug. 6, at approximately 3:31 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 600 block of East 33rd Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that an unknown individual was shot and was transported to an area hospital.

Officers arrived at an area hospital and observed 29-year-old Brown suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest, leg and stomach. The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
