In reference to a shooting that occurred in the Northeast District on Dec. 19, 2023, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 21-year-old Zahlir Gantt.
Investigators learned that Gantt shot the 26-year-old male victim while the victim was driving on the 2300 block of East Northern Parkway.
On March 21, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Zahlir Gantt at a home on the 2400 block of Wellbridge Avenue. Gantt was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where has has been charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder.
On Dec. 19, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.
Once at the hospital, officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 2300 block of East Northern Parkway by an unidentified male.
