Officers Arrest Suspect in Southern District Double Shooting Investigation

On June 6, at approximately 6:23 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were patrolling the 1300 block of Booth Street when officers witnessed a shooting.

Officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs in the unit block of North Carey Street. A second victim, a 46-year-old female, was located at the intersection of McHenry Street and South Carey Street, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported both victims to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Due to the 46-year-old woman’s condition, homicide detectives have been notified

An unidentified male suspect was arrested at the intersection of McHenry Street and South Carey Street, and is currently interviewing a possible person of interest.
