The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the arrest of Elijah Jackson, 29, in connection to a homicide in the Southern District.
Homicide detectives linked Jackson to the stabbing death of Terry Copes, 63, which occurred Oct. 7, on the 100 block of W. Garrett Street.
On Oct. 22, Southern District Action Team officers apprehended Jackson without incident, during a routine patrol in the 700 block of Freeman Street.
Detectives subsequently transported Jackson to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder.
