Suspect Arrested in Connection to Broad Daylight East Baltimore Shooting

In reference to a homicide that occurred Dec. 7 in East Baltimore, investigators have arrested a 49-year-old man.

Darryle Langley, 49, was arrested Dec. 12 in connection to the shooting of a 34-year-old man that occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of N. Patterson Park Avenue.

Police initially responded to the 2200 block of E. North Avenue, where they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where his condition was listed as stable.

Officers arrested Langley on the 2800 block of The Alameda and transported him to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder.
