Suspect Arrested and Charged with Attempted Murder in N. Fremont Avenue Shooting

On Jan. 5, at approximately 10 a.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 35-year-old Ronald Perry at a home in the 4500 block of Schley Avenue.

Perry was transported to the Western District where he was interviewed, and then taken to Central Booking where he has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and various handgun violations related an incident that occurred on Nov. 5, 2022.

On the morning of the incident, at approximately 2:38 a.m., a 29-year-old woman was shot multiple times in the 1300 block of N. Fremont Avenue.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

Western District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) investigated this incident by pulling video footage and interviewing witnesses.

Detectives were ultimately able to identify a suspect and on Dec. 28, 2022, obtained an arrest warrant for that suspect.
