A 65-year-old murder defendant, represented by attorney Janet Katharine Andersen, appeared in reception court before Baltimore City Circuit Judge Judge Melissa K. Copeland on Nov. 15.
On June 16 officers arrested Tony Stewart on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
The incident took place in a house on the 1800 block of Spence Street where Stewart allegedly stabbed 46-year-old April Patterson to death.
Stewart’s trial was set for Feb. 25, 2025 before Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.
