Springfield Avenue Shooting Victim Suffers Gunshot Wound to Abdomen

On Sept. 14, at approximately 11:14 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1100 block of Springfield Avenue for reports of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 59-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics began performing life-saving measures on the victim and transported him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Update: The victim in this case has been identified as Reginal Bernard Harrod.
