The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southern District.
On July 11, at approximately 7:34 a.m., Western District officers responded to the 3400 block of Spelman Avenue in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Western District shooting detectives are currently investigating the incident.
