Southwestern District Shooting Detectives Open Investigation into Mount Holly Street Non-Fatal Shooting

On May 4, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the rear of the 600 block of Mount Holly Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his right thigh. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Southwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.  Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in a physical altercation with at least one male at which time he was shot.
