Southwest Officers Report Shooting of 74-Year-Old Man on Lyndhurst Street

On March 29, at approximately 1:07 p.m., Southwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lyndhurst Street for a report of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the location, officers observed a 74-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg and hand. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Southwest District shooting detectives were notified and assumed control of the investigation.
