Southwest District Shooting Victim Receives Treatment

On April 12, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of South Beechfield Avenue for a report of discharging.

Once there, officers located a 45-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Responding officers immediately began to render aid to the victim until medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
