Southwest District Reports Shooting of 18-Year-Old Female on Franklintown Road

On Feb. 24, at approximately 1:53 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore police Department (BPD) were called to the 900 block of Franklintown Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an 18-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and her friends were involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified male suspect. The suspect produced a gun and shot at the victim and her friends multiple times, striking the victim.
