Southwest District Officers Respond to Shooting Homicide on Ashton Street

On June 10, at approximately 5:05 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2000 block of Ashton Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Southwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwest District shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
