Southwest District Homicide Investigation Begins

On Oct. 26, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the unit block of South Arlington Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located 28-year-old Deshawn Pinchback suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff. 

A 27-year-old female was later located at an area hospital suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

This victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
