Southwest District Detectives Arrest Two Men after Shooting Each Other on Brighton Street

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southwest District on March 11, investigators have arrested 31-year-old Bryant Floyd of Baltimore.

Through the course of this investigation, detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) learned that Floyd shot a 28-year-old male while in the 3300 block of Brighton Street. That 28-year-old male victim then produced a gun and shot Floyd.

On March 13, a warrant was obtained for Floyd, who was still being treated at an area hospital.

On March 17, Floyd was transported from the hospital to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The 28-year-old male victim also was arrested and only charged with a handgun violation.
