On Jan. 26, at approximately 12:32 p.m., Southern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 3400 block of Spelman Road for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 27-year-old Desmond Gardner suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
