Southern District Officers Launch Investigation Non-Fatal Shooting of Teen

On April 16, at approximately 1:13 a.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1000 block of South Charles Street for discharging.

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located an 18-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg on the 1100 block of South Hanover Street.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
