Southern District Detectives Seek Information in Non-Fatal Shooting on Washburn Avenue

On May 6, at approximately 5:05 a.m., Southern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a shooting victim.

Officers responded to the hospital and observed a 33 year-old male being treated by medical personnel, suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 100 block of Washburn Avenue and ran several blocks to the 4000 block of Governor Ritchie Highway. 

Southern District shooting detectives assumed control over the investigation.
