Southern District Detectives Seek Answers in Joseph Street Shooting Homicide

Southern District Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have launched an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred on Feb. 14.

On Tuesday, at approximately 3:54 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Joseph Street for a person who was found unresponsive and not breathing.

Upon arrival, officers located 18-year-old Nathaniel Dubbs suffering from obvious signs of trauma, and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The case was ruled a homicide on Feb. 15.

The victim’s remains have been removed by the Medical Examiner’s Office and an autopsy will be performed to determine his cause of death.
