ShotSpotter Alerts Police to Shooting on Stockton Street

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On Sept. 8, at approximately 5:06 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of N. Stockton Street following a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
