ShotSpotter Alerts Police to 53-Year-Old Wounded in West Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On June 7, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 500 block of N. Monroe Street.

Once there, officers located a 53-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
