ShotSpotter Alerts Officers to Washington Boulevard Shooting

On Oct. 6, at approximately 8:58 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington Boulevard for a ShotSpotter alert.

 Once at the location, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 22-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper leg. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Southern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
