Shootings Leaves Five Victims Injured and One Dead

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting on Wednesday that injured five people and killed another on the 2100 block of W. Lexington Street. 

According to a press release, Western District officers arrived on the scene at approximately 2:20 p.m. on June 16 in response to a Shot-Spotter alert. Officers found four victims at the scene, and two additional victims were reported walking into a local hospital. 

Five of the victims suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds, and one victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
