The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening of Oct. 10.
According to a news release, officers were called to an area hospital at 8:40 p.m. for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment, where a 39-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot.
At this time, the victim’s condition is unknown, said police.
Western District shooting detectives investigating this incident learned the victim was in the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue when he got into a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect. That suspect retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and shot the victim before fleeing in his vehicle eastbound on North Avenue.
