The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of Aug. 5.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1300 block of E. Oliver Street around 2:47 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where officers found a crashed vehicle and evidence of a shooting but no victim.
A short time later, officers found a shooting victim at an area hospital, a 20-year-old man found suffering from a gunshot wound. His condition is unknown at this time.
