Shooting in Western District Leaves 1 Victim Dead, Another Injured

 Western District Homicide Investigation 

On August 3, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Baltimore Police Department Western District Officers responded to the 1700 block of McCulloh Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert and multiple calls of a reported shooting. 

Officers located 14-year-old Kevin Warren and a 18-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid to the victims and they were transported to area hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving measures, Warren was pronounced deceased a short time later. The 18-year-old male is currently in stable condition. 

Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
