The Baltimore Police Department’s (BPD) Northwest District has launched an investigation into the murder of a 44-year-old male on Dec. 21.
On Wednesday, at approximately 5:01 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Saint Charles Avenue and Belvedere Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the location, they observed 44-year-old Howard Carter suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Sinai Hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
