Kevin J. Glenn Jr., 48, appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland on Feb. 11 to receive a date for trial.
Glenn is charged with two counts each of attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault and firearm use in a felony violent crime, as well as one count of reckless endangerment and five gun violations for his alleged role in a Sept. 24, 2025 non-fatal shooting that occurred in Central Park Heights.
According to charging documents, police responded to reports of a shooting victim on the 2800 block of Woodland Avenue, where they located a man suffering from a wound to his head. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Investigators identified Glenn as a person of interest through area surveillance footage. They later learned the victim had been shot on the 4000 block of Park Heights Avenue, where a building appeared to have been damaged by the gunfire, and that he drove to Woodland Avenue to call the police. A subsequent photo array was conducted with witnesses, who allegedly identified Glenn as the shooter.
During the Feb. 11 pre-trial conference, the prosecution presented an aggregated plea offer but the terms were not immediately available.
Per the advice of defense attorney Augustine Okeke, Glenn rejected the deal.
Glenn is now set for a three-day jury trial beginning May 18 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Dana M. Middleton.
