Two non-fatal shooting cases are set to return to Baltimore City Circuit Court next month. One of the defendants, 33-year-old Hughie Martin, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, and discharging firearms. On Monday, the prosecution presented a plea of 15 years, suspending all but four to nine years, and forfeiting all firearms, and no contact with the victim for first-degree assault. Read more »
