On July 4, 2022, at approximately 3:12 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were patrolling on the 100 block of North Glover Street when they heard discharging of a firearm. Read more »

A Baltimore man was shot in the upper body multiple times and killed on North Montford Avenue on July 4, according to the Baltimore Police Department.  Patrol officers were patrolling the area of North Glover Street when they heard gunshots on the 400 block of North Montford Avenue around 3:12 a.m., where 42-year-old Leroy Jeter III was found on the ground unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.  The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead shortly after.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Baltimore Police Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100 or use the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
