Sanitation Worker Injured in Allendale Shooting

On May 17, at approximately 10:51 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 800 block of Allendale Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers learned that workers from the Department of Public Works were in the rear of the location collecting trash when an unidentified male began shooting, striking a 42-year-old male DPW employee.

The victim was then loaded into the DPW vehicle and transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
